This just in: Gov. Bredesen has proposed a 1--count it--ONE percent pay raise for TN school teachers. No wonder so many TN teachers run for the border. And it's such a shame, after all his big talk, that it comes down to one percent, which just happens to be 2.5 percent less than the rising cost of living.
