Jon Lee Is Cold

Many of you probably know by now that Jon Lee is gone to Alaska. Hopefully he'll be back in a while like he promised. No matter what, it will be interesting to see how God uses his time in the artic regions. But I think his journey will end like the twothirtyeight song I put on a mix CD for him. It's the first track I put on there, and it's called "Beautiful Disease."

The clincher comes when the singer, who is talking about a guy who wants nothing more than to leave his hometown, comes to a frustrating realization:

There's a beautiful disease
In her parks and in her trees
There is everything but home beyond her borders

May Alaska be good to you, Jonathan, and may you never forget that the whole world is outside of Tennessee, but home is right here with us.
