Another Satisfying Trip to Chad's

it's been a while since i've said anything about my slowly growing record collection, but i think you'll be glad to know i've not let up on trading in cds for lps. today, i had a couple discs to trade in (one is particularly rad--called kiss kiss...chaotic "symphony" rock?). so i used that trade in and some more i had gathered up to get 3 records. one is a double disc of sam cooke. basically has all his big hits.

next up is an album i just learned aretha recorded when she was 14. hopefully that doesn't mean it sucks. but it's her singing gospel. i can't imagine there would be anything wrong with it, but 14 is pretty young. then again, consider 14-year-old michael jackson. BOOYAH!

and finally, i picked up an album especially for my valentine. thankfully she doesn't read this. in fact, she probably doesn't know where to find this blog. but that's good because she'll love her new record, especially since it's a big surprise.
