I first saw them at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT in July of 1992. WPLR used to play "It's Love" like crazy.
I've seen them a few other times since.
GREAT, GREAT band.
92? crap, man. i wish i could have seen them when their hair was a spectacle in and of itself. but yeah, they're incredible.
i wish they'd come through town again. when they did (4-5 years ago), i saw ty walking down the street in some kind of fur coat with some people. i wanted to honk and scream, but decided against it (probably a bad decision to hold back). and then i tried going w/ my little brother, but rhythm and brews had just instituted their "no one under age 21" rule, and he was just 19 or 20...so we both went home dejected.
