Exercise Like a Working Man

so i decided it was time to finally start exercising again. it sucks b/c it's not called exercise instead of playing basketball, skating, or just running around.

anyway, i'm stuck in an office all day and don't have much time at night or in the mornings to exercise (2 kids make sure my time is spent with them). therefore, i have to figure out a way to do it on my own. so...i finally figured out how to set the hourly beep chime thing on my sweet $10 wal-mart watch. every time it beeps (on the hour), i get out of my chair and do some push-ups



or sit-ups,



or a wall sit,



or some jumping jacks,



or something else physical that doesn't require equipment or time.

it's made me feel better, look better (i actually bulk up pretty fast--yeah, i'm rad like that), and work better. it's also reassuring knowing those tiny breaks are keeping me from getting carpal tunnel.

if you're stuck in an office w/ someone else or just have a cubicle, i don't really have a solution. sorry.

how about some yoga?

hmmmm...i think yoga takes a bit more time and commitment than, say, dropping to the floor for 20 quick push-ups. if i'm wrong, let me know, and i'll become a master jedi.
